Dinesh R. Desai
President, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Desai has been Emtec’s Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President since August 2005. Prior to August 2005, Mr. Desai was the Chairman and CEO of DARR Global Holdings, Inc., a management consulting firm. Prior to DARR, Mr. Desai was President, CEO, Co-Chairman and an owner of Western Sky Industries, a privately-held manufacturer of proprietary component parts used primarily in aerospace applications. Western Sky grew from approximately $3 million in revenues to over $170 million prior to being sold to McKechnie in 1999. Before Western Sky, Mr. Desai spent twelve years with American Can and Arco Chemical in various management positions. Mr. Desai holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, India, and a Masters of Science Degree in both chemical and industrial engineering from Montana State University. He earned a Masters in Business Administration from Temple University.
Gregory Chandler
Chief Financial Officer and President of Application Services Division
Since May 2009, Mr. Chandler has been Emtec's CFO and President of Emtec's Global Services division. Mr. Chandler brings extensive experience to Emtec, having previously served as the Managing Director and Group Head of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC’s Business Services Investment Banking Practice. Prior to that, Mr. Chandler was a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers advising companies in restructuring their back office financial operations. Mr. Chandler received his MBA from Harvard Business School, a B.S. in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and is also a Certified Public Accountant. In addition, he has been a part of Emtec’s Board serving as Chairman of the Audit Committee since the company merged with Westwood Computer Corporation in 2005. While he will no longer retain his position as Chairman of the Audit Committee, Mr. Chandler will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors.
Sunil Misra
Chief Strategy and Delivery Officer
Mr. Misra joined Emtec as the Chief Strategy and Delivery Officer in November 2009. Prior to November 2009, Mr. Misra was a vice president at Getronics leading their consulting division. Prior to Getronics, he held a number of senior executive roles with global responsibilities at Unisys including vice president, managing partner and chief security advisor for the Unisys Worldwide Enterprise Security Practice. Mr. Misra has also led several other global business lines for Unisys, including the Real Time Infrastructure unit, the Document Management and Workflow business and a systems integration practice. He is a recognized industry expert in the areas of security and privacy, infrastructure, software as a service, and cloud computing. Mr. Misra was a winner of a National Merit Scholarship and received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from RPI in New York.
Brian McAdams
Director & Vice Chairman
Since August 2005, Mr. McAdams has been Director and Vice Chairman of Emtec. Prior to August 2005 and from 2001, Mr. McAdams served as a Senior Partner with DARR Global Holdings, as the Vice Chairman of Westwood Computer Corporation, the CEO of Passport Express Services, Inc., and the CEO of My Help Desk, Inc. He has held prior positions as director at two public companies: Crusader Bank Corporation and National Media Corporation, where he served as both Chairman and CEO.
Brian Mandel
Executive Vice President, Public Sector
Joining Emtec in March 2010, Mr. Mandel is responsible for maintaining and expanding Emtec’s Public Sector (Federal, State, Local Government and Education). Mr. Mandel brings over 20 years of sales and management experience within the Public Sector to Emtec. Prior to joining Emtec, Mr. Mandel was Executive Vice President of Public Sector for Keane, Inc, a systems integration and consulting company. Prior to Keane, Mr. Mandel worked at Unisys Corporation where he served clients in the public sector in a variety of roles culminating with his position as Vice President and Managing Partner within Public Sector. Over the entire duration of his 13 year tenure at Unisys, he held various positions within the consulting services business including program leadership, geographic leadership and operational leadership. Mr. Mandel graduated from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and received an MBA from Villanova University, both conferred with high honors.
Ronald A. Seitz
Executive Vice President, Education
Since March 2010, Ron Seitz has been Executive Vice President of Education. From May 2009 to March 2010, Mr Seitz was President of Federal Sales, Education Sales, Operations and Purchasing, Technical Services and Delivery. Mr. Seitz has held positions including President of Emtec Operations, President of Emtec Southeast Operations, President and Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice-President, Executive Vice President of Emtec-NJ, and Chief Operating Officer of Emtec-NJ. He has been a director of Emtec-NJ since April, 1995. Mr. Seitz was the founder of Charleston, SC-based Computer Source, Inc. (CSI). CSI merged with Landress Information Systems of Mt. Laurel, NJ to become Emtec-NJ. Prior to founding CSI, Mr. Seitz was employed as an engineer with the U.S. government in Washington, DC. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and from George Washington University with an MBA in computer science. Mr. Seitz also holds a DMD degree from the Dental School at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Stephen Donnelly
EVP Business Planning and Analysis, Human Resources and Corporate Development
EVP Business Planning and Analysis, Human Resources and Corporate Development Since May of 2009, Mr. Donnelly has been Executive Vice President - Business Planning and Analysis, Human Resources and Corporate Development. prior, Mr. Donnelly served as Emtec’s Chief Financial Officer from August 2005 to April 2009. Prior to August 2005, Mr. Donnelly was the Chief Financial Officer of DARR Global Holdings, Inc. a management consulting firm. He has served as an officer for Westwood Computer Corporation since 2004. Prior positions include Manager and Managing Director for Acquisition Management Services, Inc., Director of Operations for a privately-held human resource and employee benefits software developer, and a Financial Manager for a healthcare organization. Mr. Donnelly began his career with the accounting firm of PriceWaterhouse. He is a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Villanova University.
Siva Natarajan
CIO and Managing Director of ERP and Application Development Services
Mr. Natarajan is CIO of Emtec and Managing Director of ERP and Application Development Services and joined Emtec in 2008 through the Luceo acquisition.Prior to founding Luceo in 2002, he was the founder and president of Six Sigma Solutions, Inc., a Supply Chain/E-commerce consulting company. Mr. Natarajan has consulted at various Clients including Sony, Panasonic, Ericsson, Titanium Metals Corporation and Procter & Gamble on SAP projects. From 1995 to 1997, he worked as a Project Manager at SAP America. Mr. Natarajan has a MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern University), Master’s in Manufacturing Systems from the University of Texas, Austin and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University in India.
Sam Bhatt
Vice President of Finance and Secretary
Since August 2005, Sam Bhatt has been Vice President of Finance and Secretary. Prior to August 2005 he held positions including Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, Director of Accounting for Emtec-NJ, Accounting Manager for Emtec-NJ and Senior Accountant for Emtec-NJ. Mr. Bhatt holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration from Drexel University in Pennsylvania and a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology in Mumbai, India.
Jeff Posey
VP of Federal Sales
Since May of 2009, Mr. Posey has held the position of Vice President of Federal Sales. Mr. Posey joined Emtec in July of 2005, during this time he has held positions as Director of Federal Enterprise Solutions and Senior Account Manager. Prior to joining Emtec, Mr. Posey held an Enterprise Account Manager position with Hewlett-Packard 1996-2005, and from 1993-1996 Account Manager positions with GTSI and Falcon Microsystems. He has over 17 years of experience in working with the federal government providing solutions, working on bids and proposals, and developing sales teams. He holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Radford University.
Peter Pranschke
President of Commercial Sales
Since March 2010, Mr. Pranschke has been Emtec's President of Commercial Sales. Prior to March 2010 he held the position of President of Commercial, State and Local Government Sales. He joined our team through the acquisition of KOAN-IT in February 2009. Prior, Mr. Pranschke was the President of KOAN-IT, responsible for charting KOAN-ITs strategic direction, driving revenue growth and promoting its innovative approach to improving ITs value to the business. His drive and enthusiasm stems from over 20 years of successful operational and business development experience in the information technology industry. During this time, Mr. Pranschke has held senior management positions in the areas of sales, marketing, corporate and IT operations, software development and support. His background includes both services and product related roles with webHancer, CrossKeys Systems, The PSC Group and Digital Equipment. He has direct operational experience managing complex service delivery environments and associated support services in high availability environments using ITIL best practices. Mr. Pranschke holds an honors diploma in Information Systems from Algonquin College.
Jessica Chopra
Managing Director of Information Technology Business Analysis and Quality Assurances Services
Mrs. Chopra is Managing Director of Information Technology Business Analysis and Quality Assurances Services for Emtec. She joined the Emtec team through the acquisition of Aveeva/eBas in August 2008. Prior to founding Aveeva/eBas in 1999, Mrs. Chopra worked in Software Development, Design, Testing and Project management for companies like AT&T, BellCore and Lucent for over 10 years. Mrs. Chopra is a Masters Graduate in Statistics and Bachelors in Science from Punjab University. Her technical expertise is in SAP Systems, MS Test /Visual Test, SQA Teamtest, QA Partner/Silk, Xrunner, Test Master, Lotus Notes, PowerBuilder, Microsoft Office, StarGROUP LAN, SABLE, TQMS (Telephone Quality Measurement system), CSL (Computerized Speech Laboratory). Mrs. Chopra is a Certified SAP professional in FICO and other modules.
Adam Alonso
VP of Business Development, Application Services
Mr. Alonso joined Emtec as the VP of Business Development in May 2009. Prior to May, Mr. Alonso was the President of EMS (Enterprise Management Solutions, Inc.) - an IT technology consulting company specializing in global consulting services, education, product sourcing, managed services, 24x7 level one technical support, and (BSM) business service management solutions to fortune 500 and global 1000 clients. Emtec acquired certain assets of EMS in May 2009. Mr. Alonso has extensive experience with BSM, Enterprise Project Management, IS Infrastructure Optimization, Business Process Engineering, and Change Management. Previous positions include Director of Operations for RISC Management- a systems integrator, and Senior Software Consultant / Project Manager for RISCSoft, Inc. Mr. Alonso attended University of South Florida with a focus on Management Information Systems.
David Singer
Vice President of Marketing
David Singer is Emtec's Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Singer has also held the position of the Vice President of Marketing & Public Sector. Before Westwood merged with Emtec, Mr. Singer managed Westwood's marketing efforts for 15 years in addition to working on bids & proposals, vendor relations, and managing several major accounts. Prior to joining Westwood, Mr. Singer was an account manager for PacTel Publishing (trade directories) and PTN Publishing (photo trade journals). Mr. Singer holds a Bachelor of Science in Business & Economics from Lehigh University.
